About Us
Laura van de Woord started her violin studies with Johannes Leertouwer at the conservatory in Amsterdam. After that she studied with Kati Sebestyen at the Brabants Conservatory and got her diploma in 2000. During her studies she followed several masterclasses of chamermusic with; the Storioni Trio, Alexander Hrisanide, and others. She participated in chambermusic courses in Switserland, Spain, and Austria. After her studies she was coached by Andras Czifra on violin and on the viola by Ervin Schiffer. She played in; Art du Monde Ensemble, Opus 3, Dordts Kamer Orkest, Dordts Kamermuziek Ensemble and the Wilhelmina Cantate Orkest. She gave concerts in Europe and America. Since 2002 she plays in Duo Corcova.
Jeroen Hobbel finished his studies in 2000 with Dick Hoogeveen with the main subject classical guitar at the conservatory of Rotterdam. He also studied guitar with Hans van Goch at the same conservatory. He followed masterclasses with John Mills, Jan Willem de Vriend and Dick Visser. After he received his diploma for classical guitar, he studied with a lot of enthusiasm “Tango of Argentina” also at the conservatory of Rotterdam. Jeroen has taken part of several ensembles: Guitarras Porteñas and Nuevos Tangueros, Opus 3 and the Art du Monde Ensemble. Also he played solo with the Toonkunst Choir and won a first prize with 'De Hoop Orchestra'. He gave concerts all over Europe and is the guitarist of Duo Corcova since 2002.
