Duo Corcova consists of Laura van de Woord (violin) and Jeroen Hobbel (guitar). The duo was formed in 2002 through a common interest in classical music and world music, both styles which they still perform. In 2012 they produced their debut CD 'Violino e Violão' in Lucas van Merwijk's Tam Tam Studio. In 2014 they made their second cd. This CD consists of Brazilian music as well. They were featured on Dutch National Radio in the program 'Vroege Vogels' a few times. Also they were played at the program 'Brazilian Blend' on ORTS Radio and on ATOS Radio. They give concerts all over Europe. Besides playing concerts they also teach as they believe it is important to pass on knowledge of music.
