Jeroen Hobbel
Jeroen Hobbel finished his studies in 2000 with Dick Hoogeveen with the main subject classical guitar at the conservatory of Rotterdam.
He followed masterclasses and other classes with Hans van Goch, Jan Willem de Vriend and Dick Visser. After this he studied with a lot of enthusiasm “Tango of Argentina” also at the conservatory of Rotterdam. Jeroen has taken part of several ensembles like: Guitarras Porteñas and Nuevos Tangueros, Opus 3 and the Art du Monde Ensemble. He gave concerts in The Netherlands but also in a lot of other countries. Since 2002 Jeroen is the guitarist of Duo Corcova.

Laura van de Woord
Laura van de Woord studied violin with Kati Sebestyen at the Brabants Conservatory and got her diploma in 2000. During her studies she followed several masterclasses of chamermusic with; the Storioni Trio, Alexander Hrisanide, and others. She participated in chambermusic courses in Switserland, Spain, and Austria. After her studies she was coached by Andras Czifra on violin and on the viola by Ervin Schiffer. She received also the diploma Grade Superior in Spain with Andras Czifra. She played many orchestras and chamber music ensembles. Several years she played in the Art du Monde Ensemble and Opus 3. Since 2002 she is the violinist in Duo Corcova.

Duo Corcova
Duo Corcova consists of Laura van de Woord (violin) and Jeroen Hobbel (guitar). The duo was formed in 2002 through a common interest in classical music and world music. With these styles, they still perform in Europe. In 2012 they produced their debut CD 'Violino e Violão' in Lucas van Merwijk's Tam Tam Studio. Their second CD consists of Brazilian music as well. They were featured on Radio 1 in the program 'Vroege Vogels' a few times. Also they were played at the program 'Brazilian Blend' and played there 'live' too.
